"When you’re a goalie, you are either a hero….or a zero!"

“I’ve had a passion for hockey ever since I was little. Where it came from? I don’t know. My father didn’t play. Neither did my mother. But they always supported my passion. A goalie’s equipment is expensive. They paid $5000. You have to have good equipment to protect you from getting hurt. Even so, when you push yourself to give your best I expose myself by being outside the net so i have all kinds of bruises."

“Why do so many young boys fall off the path?”

“They lack a passion for something that would drive them to achieve. I don’t have the time to hang out with the boys. I have a game to play, A practice to attend. I have two more years to try out for the NHL and become professional.”

“And if you don’t make it?”

“I will go into police academy. Right now I’m in college and my course curriculum includes all the compulsory courses for the academy. I love World History. It’s my favorite. And it’s given by a super teacher. My goal as a police officer? To become a detective. I watch every detective show on TV. And I love solving problems.”
