Stu Williamson is a resident in a senior residence in downtown Seattle. A friend of mine who lives in Seattle told me about him.
Before he retired, he did various marketing work. All through his life he hasn't been afraid of trying new things. But nothing as adventuresome as jumping out of a plane. It was doing his regular set of exercises that he got to meet the instructor who organizes skydiving - and there he was!
Actually this was his second jump. the first one was last year when he invited only his grandson as a spectator.
What a thrill!
He was so exhilarated by the experience that this second time round he invited 14 of his friends including his grandson! His best friend flew in especially for the jump!
His ambition? In the immediate, gliding next year.
And in the long run? To beat the record of the person who skydived at 102!
All this begs the question: At what age does "old age" begin?
