As soon as I saw her, I was intrigued. I thought to myself, “She is not a young woman, but on the other hand, she doesn’t dress like an old woman.”
“ How old are you?”
“95!”
I was stunned. “Did you ever have a face lift? You have so few wrinkles
and you don’t even have a sagging chin.”
She laughed, obviously enjoying the question. “No, never. No face lift!”
“Then what is your secret?”
“I laugh a lot. I was very sad when my husband died.
We were happy for 62 years. I am still sad,
But when ever I have heartache, I laugh the heartache away.”
“I tell my friend, If you’re unhappy because you had to sell your house. why be unhappy.
You can always visit it on the street. And in your heart it will always be yours’“
“I have a wonderful companion. She also knows how to laugh. We laugh together!”
