It was his shoes that drew me like a magnet!

I was on elegant Sherbrooke St., and there was this man.

His magnificent tailoring and impeccable grooming caught my eye.

But it was the shoes that i found riveting!. They were a work of art.

Later on in the day I still couldn't get the shoes out of my mind.

“How much do you think they cost?” I asked my assistant showing him the picture.

“Oh, at least $300!"

I looked at him in disbelief.

"Are you kidding. I bet you at least $1000.”

I was determined to find out how much the shoes cost.

I didn’t have long to wait.

The next day, displayed in a men’s shop window on Sherbrooke St

There they were….THE SHOES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I dashed inside, grabbed the sales man, dragged him outside, pointed to the shoes, and asked,

“How much are the ‘doggies’ in the window?”

I guessed right….

$1000 and change!
