I couldn’t resist!
As I was strolling idly by, I saw that the car the owner was washing was a Volvo.
The story of my uncle flashed across my mind’s eye.
I stopped to chat and told the owner this Volvo story.
My uncle Nathan had driven a Volvo for years. So many years that when he began to lose his marbles,
he was still driving it.This story begins and ends with Nathan driving into a parking building,
following the signs to the third level. So far so good.
It was when he hit the third floor that he lost it.
Without thinking he put the gears into reverse, put his foot on the gas and
SMASHED INTO A PARKED CAR BEHIND HIM!
He immediately panicked, shifted the gears and put his foot on the gas and
SMASHED INTO A CAR IN FRONT OF HIM!
The alarms went wild! But before the garage people could run up the stairs and stop my uncle,
HE HAD SMASHED INTO A FEW MORE CARS.
The wreckage was enormous.
But my uncle’s Volvo lived up to its hype.
Uncle Nathan walked out of the car and couldn’t understand all the fuss.
Uncle Nathan was in perfect condition……
AND SO WAS THE VOLVO!
NOT EVEN A DENT!!!!!!!!!!!

That’s when its advertising was featuring it’s amazing protection in an accident......
and then the advertising no longer featured it........Alas for Volvo!
